The Girl in the Window

I cannot believe anyone would do anything so awful. Let alone to a child, but really to any living thing. I am happy to hear she is safe now. I had to take a break about every 30 seconds lest I cry my whole way through it. That was hard to believe.

A stunningly bad case of child neglect, to the point of ferality. Incredibly heart-hurting. :(

p.s. check out the video slideshow too.

Yikes. Wow.

This. Is. Fucked. Up. Absolutely heartbreaking.

My deepest, darkest fear is that my kid won’t be perfect. That it won’t have ten toes and ten fingers. That it will be, in some way, not normal. I can’t imagine allowing a child to go from full potential to, well, Dani. There’s a place in the deepest circle of hell for people who treat their children in such a way.

I had to stop reading this halfway though because I started tearing up at work. I feel so bad for that poor little girl.

Wow. What an unbelievable story. I’m so happy that she’s with a family that’s taking so much care of her now. She’s such a pretty little girl. That story really touched my heart. Make sure to check out the slide-show. Again, I’m so happy she’s being taken care of so well now. I love that The Beatles calm her down.
